PRIVATE COOKING CLASSES, EVENTS FOR YOUR KIDS AND TEENAGERS

Master Chef Party

A children’s MasterChef party is a fun and interactive way to encourage kids (8-15 years old) to explore the world of cooking and develop their culinary skills. The party typically involves a cooking competition in which the children are divided into teams and given a set of ingredients and a theme to work with. They must then come up with a creative and tasty dish that they present to a panel of judges: our chefs and the parents’ host.  It’s a great way to teach kids about food preparation, and teamwork, while having fun and creating delicious dishes.

Afternoon Tea Party

Afternoon tea is a British tradition that typically involves a light meal or snack consisting of tea, sandwiches, scones, and pastries. It’s usually served in the mid-afternoon, between lunch and dinner, and provides a break from the day’s activities. The sandwiches are typically small, crustless, and filled with ingredients such as cucumber, egg salad, or smoked salmon. Scones are a type of sweet pastry that is typically served with clotted cream and jam, while pastries may include cakes, cookies, or petit fours. We will had a French twist by making some madeleines too.

Sushi Party

Sushi is a Japanese dish that typically consists of vinegar-flavored sushi rice combined with raw fish, seafood, vegetables, or other ingredients, and wrapped in sheets of seaweed called nori. There are many different types of sushi, including nigiri sushi, which features a small ball of sushi rice topped with a slice of raw fish or seafood, and maki sushi, which is made by rolling sushi rice and other ingredients in nori and then slicing it into bite-sized pieces. Sushi is often served with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger, and can be enjoyed as a snack, appetizer, or main course. Sushi has become a popular food around the world and is now widely available in many different variations and styles.

With the sushi party, your little Chefs will enjoy a really healthy and fun cooking birthday party. This event will be special as your foodies will have to practice their knife skills to set up the toppings and them roll their own sushi.

Pasta Party

Homemade pasta is a delicious and satisfying dish that is made from scratch using flour, eggs, and water. The process typically involves mixing the ingredients together to form a dough, which is then kneaded until it becomes smooth and elastic. The dough is then rested, rolled out, and cut into the desired shape, such as spaghetti or lasagna sheets. Homemade pasta can be cooked in boiling water for just a few minutes until al dente, and then tossed with a variety of sauces and toppings, such as tomato sauce, pesto, or butter and Parmesan cheese. Making homemade pasta is a fun and rewarding experience that allows you to create a delicious and authentic Italian dish right in your own kitchen.

Biscuits Party

Sablé biscuits, also known as French butter cookies, are a type of shortbread cookie that originated in France. The name “sablé” means “sandy” in French, referring to the crumbly texture of the biscuit. Sablé biscuits are made with a simple combination of butter, sugar, flour, and sometimes egg yolks. The dough is typically rolled out and cut into shapes, such as circles or rectangles, and then baked until golden brown. Sablé biscuits can be enjoyed on their own as a snack, or used as a base for tarts or other desserts. They are known for their rich, buttery flavor and delicate, crumbly texture. Sablé biscuits are a popular treat in France and are enjoyed around the world as a delicious and versatile cookie.

Your little bakers will use their hands to make dough, then use cookie cutters to get beautiful biscuits and finally brush them with egg wash to get the gold colour expected.

This workshop is always a blast for birthday parties as your children are making everything from scratch and get so happy to see their biscuits in their party boxes.
