Olive oil and basil ice cubes

Time: 10 minutes

Serves: 6 dishes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves. (Don’t forget to wash the leaves before used)

  • Chop the leaves very thinly and put them in an ice cubes tray.

  • Pour the olive oil until level and freeze.

  • Use the frozen basil/olive oil cubes when you cook to bring flavors.

Utensils:

  • A chopping board

  • A knife

  • A spoon

You can use any aromatic herbs, from oregano, thyme, rosemary to mint
